Hanser's Wrecker Company was established in 1963.  Since then, we have added outlets in Columbus, Big Timber, and Hardin, Montana.  We are a family-owned corporation dedicated to the service of the motoring public in many ways.

Our fleet of wreckers and car carriers are all state-of-the-art equipped maintaining annual upgrades to continue superior service.  Our amazing air cushion recovery system, capable of lifting up to 100,000 pounds, has saved our customers thousands of dollars by uprighting loaded trailers without having to transfer the cargo.  In addition to our fleet of wreckers, we have abundant support equipment.  These include our fully loaded 5th wheel trucks, lowboys, reefer trailers, loaders, track hoe, dozer, forklifts, and flatbeds.  No matter what cargo is being carried, we have the manpower, equipment, and expertise to handle it in a safe, efficient manner.

Hanser's wrecker operators are well trained.  All operators have completed certification in Towing, Recovery and Traffic Management while 16 people are also certified in the 40-hour hazardous waste operations and emergency response training.  Hanser's supervisors have completed Disaster and Emergency Service (DES) Certification and are registered with FEMA as well.

One of many areas putting Hanser’s above the rest is our environmental protection procedures.  We are insured to do remediation for any petroleum-based spill.   We use our loaders, dump trucks, and track hoe for the cleanup and reclamation of contaminated soil and water.  Although petroleum-based spills are our specialty, we do clean up other hazardous spills upon evaluation.  We handle everything including reporting to the Department of Environmental Quality and Department Of Transportation, removal, proper disposal, soil testing, and site closure.

There are various areas contributing to Hanser’s leading the competition.  Hanser’s has a full service shop staffed with master certified technicians to repair your truck and trailer.  Our unique shop layout with 125 foot bays allow us to repair your truck and trailer without separating them.  We have fully equipped service trucks and 24-hour emergency mechanic service, so you are back on the road quickly.  Lastly, we also carry Goodyear and Bridgestone tires as well as handle their national account billing.
